How do I care for my item?
KMR WoodWorks provides care instructions for their products, but generally, it's important to keep the table or chairs clean and free of moisture or heat damage. Regular dusting and occasional polishing with a wood-specific cleaner can help keep the furniture looking its best. General household wood cleaner is what we recommend for cleaning. Item-specific maintenance instructions will be included with your item. Below is a list of common dos and don'ts for our items.
Dining Tables/Chairs:
Dos: General purpose wood/furniture cleaner or polish, soapy water, Windex.
Don'ts: Magic Erasers, steel wool.
Are the finishes pet and environment friendly?
We use a combination of stain and lacquer on most of our dining items. If we choose to use a different type of finish, we'll always approve it with you.

Can I customize the size and shape of my dining table or chairs?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of custom options for dining tables and chairs, including size, shape, and finish. You can work with our team to create a piece that fits your unique needs and preferences.
How long do custom orders take?
Our general order completion time depends on the complexity of the order. Our team will provide you with a time estimate based on our current workload, the intricacy of your order, and other relevant factors. Please note that the processing duration will vary depending on the specifics of your order, and our team will communicate the estimated timeline based on our assessment of the project's complexity and our current orders. We strive to complete orders as efficiently as possible while ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
How does shipping/delivery work?
Local Pickup: For local pick-up, it's important to ensure you have a vehicle/trailer into which your item will fit. We do not recommend using open trailers that expose our products to the outdoors, as most items are meant for indoor use only. We are not responsible for shipping damage if it is a local pickup.
Delivery: We will deliver to certain locations for an additional agreed-upon amount. We generally will deliver to the areas around Southern Illinois. This includes certain parts of Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The amount for delivery will be added to your quote before construction if you choose this option.
Shipment: For a select few items, we can ship them. We generally use USPS, USP, and FedEx for our shipping needs. Only items that are deemed fit for shipment by our team will qualify for this option.
What types of payment do you accept?
Our accepted payment methods include and is limited to the following:
- Pay in full upon order
- Pay a 50% deposit upon the order, then 50% upon order completion. For local pickup/delivery, this can be paid when item is received. For shipment, this must be paid before we ship the item.
